Angela Connolly was employed by me as an Interior Designer in 2012. She was involved in the re-decoration of my home. Angela was very patient and diligent in listening to our varied requirements. She helped us to focus on our priorities and presented a detailed plan.

I contacted Angela at Conbu Interior Design with an almost impossible brief. The apartment I was selling was going on the market in 3 weeks and in the meantime I was undergoing surgery. This meant that I needed to hand over the entire staging of the property to Angela and at the same time, give her a super tight deadline. My budget was as tight as the deadline!
Angela took on the project straight away. Her calm professional nature calmed and reassured me from the outset. Angela transformed my apartment and came in under budget and bang on time. The sale went through almost immediately and came in 25% higher than the expected market value.

When we bought a house in Dublin and started planning the renovation project we haven’t had much ideas about what we are getting into. Especially as availability of renovation companies and tradesmen was in short supply (summer 2021). Angela had made all the difference by giving us the right guidance, design, selecting and procuring materials. She was managing the whole project and supplied critical tradesmen to finish the project right in time. Worth to mention that wast majority of the work was happening while we were not in Dublin for various reasons.

Angela was from Conbu Design was a pleasure to work with during our sitting room refurbishment. Her project management skills were excellent and she made our project easy from start to finish. Angela took the stress away from the project and ensured the job was completed to a very high standard. Included in our project was an innovative storage and bar unit for the alcoves either side of the fireplace, which was designed by Conbu Design. They outsourced high quality crafts people to manufacture and install the unit and we are very happy with the unit. Conbu Design are dedicated and reliable to work it.

Angela completed a design in line with our ask, project managed the various craftsmen and suppliers and advised on the selection of appliances, furniture,blinds, lighting and all accessories. in all aspects we were happy, the design was very good and was duly implemented by a team of workmen under the project management of Angela and we got great advice and assistance in sourcing the various items we needed.

Ger Moffatt, Foxrock, Dublin 18I (Josephine Russell) together with my husband, Kieran O’Malley, engaged Angela Connolly, owner/manager of Conbu Interior Design, to design and manage the fit-out of our new build home and garden in Dundrum, Dublin 14. The project was challenging in that it took place during the latter stages of the Covid-19 pandemic when it was difficult to obtain the services of tradesmen and also the effect of Brexit caused difficulties in acquiring furnishings from the UK. Angela helped us modernize and upgrade the basement of our house which was dark and dated, into a beautiful, bright, airy and modern living space. Angela had access to skilled builders, kitchen and cabinetry makers, upholsterers and tilers which was key to getting the job done and to a very high standard. She helped us to choose colours, fabrics, tiles and finishes which we would not have chosen ourselves and made the whole process really easy and seamless.
